点评：A bit of a mixed blessing of a local museum. Enthusiatic and welcoming volunteer staff but we thought that much of the material could have been better displayed. There seemed to be an over-reliance on written chronological displays of Tring history rather than on actual exhibits. The small size makes such an objective difficult to achieve. Like so many museums, photography proved difficult because of glare from lighting and reflections on display cases. It did give a flavour of past importance of the town and was in a historic building, formerly part of the cattle market. We thought that better directional signage was needed in the town to encourage more visitors as it is easy to miss it tucked away in the corner of a large car park! Many people visit Tring Park and the Natural History Museum unaware that there is another one to see nearby.
