点评：Zakouma is my second favorite park in three trips to Africa and five different countries (my first is Bwindi in Uganda).
In February Camp Tinga is very comfortable and not too hot especially at night. No trouble whatsoever sleeping. Excellent French cooking from staff who are polite and focused on your comfort. People make it out to seem poor, it isn't. It's comfortable though not luxurious. What do you expect? This is Chad.
The park was amazing. We spent three days there. There were no other vehicles, no other tourists, and many of the wildlife sightings were sightings I have not seen in East Africa. The two highlights for me were the quelea (both coming into roost and driving to the heart of the swarm where they were roosting) and a 2.4 meter rock python.
We spotted four of the big five including lions on a freshly killed bull giraffe. It was an incredible experience which I highly recommend.
