点评：I had a wonderful visit to the Shawnigan Lake Museum and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I walked in, it was clear how much care and passion has gone into preserving the local history. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, engaging, and full of fascinating stories that really bring the area’s past to life.
What truly made the experience stand out, though, was our guide, Tamara. She was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and incredibly welcoming. Her storytelling made every exhibit more meaningful, and she had a great way of connecting historical details to the bigger picture of the community. You could tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it made all the difference.
If you’re in the area, this is definitely worth a visit. It’s a gem of a museum, made even better by the excellent people who run it!
