Least family friendly vineyard in NoVa
The Winery at Bull Run的点评
点评：We visited the Winery at Bull Run over Labor Day weekend and were excited to check it out with our family. We regularly go to Virginia wineries and breweries with our kids, aged 7 and 9, along with other adults and families. This is by far the worst and least flexible vineyard we have ever been to as a family. As others have noted, they have a separate lawn for families but that lawn is in the back corner of the property with no views, almost no shade, no lawn games, and very strict rules where you can’t even bring in your own toys or balls) (they were checking bags like toys were contraband). No other vineyards or breweries in the area take this approach and actually go out of their way to creat family friendly environments since a lot of people visiting vineyards are multigenerational. Note: people with kids also buy bottles and not just wine by the glass! I get the appeal if you’re a young 20 something but would take a hard hard pass and visit the many other options in the area if you in any other demographic. It’s fine to be an adults only vineyard like RSV, but if you call yourself family friendly, then don’t offer a different bill of goods.
