点评:I had planned to spend a Sunday ferry-hopping around the archipelago while I was in Stockholm for a conference, but I woke up to a cold, rainy day so I decided to search for Plan B. That turned out to be Artipelag. I took the bus from near the station both ways, which gave me about four hours on site. That was perfect. I really enjoyed walking through the property and observing the wonderful sculptures. The brochure describing the sculptures and artists was very helpful
And it was nice to go inside the building when it was pouring for a snack and some art. I ate at the cafe, not the restaurant. The food was good but overpriced. The indoor space
Is appealing. As others have observed, though, the art indoors is not as high caliber or engaging as the outdoor grounds and sculptures. There doesn’t seem to be a permanent collection so it may depend on the exhibition. I also saw the immersive Mucha show, which was nice but unimpressive - it’s artertainment, not art. All that said it was a lovely, if a bit pricey, Plan B and I’d recommend it to Stockholm visitors for a day (or part-day) trip.
