You feel a very strong sense of walking in the footsteps of history when you visit. And the history as England’s first cottage hospital and the part it played as a forerunner to the NHS is absolutely fascinating.
But this isn’t just about the heritage, the location is the most wonderful venue for a range of wellbeing, meet ups and learning events.
And it definitely delivers on the ‘wow’ factor, both externally and internally.
As a local resident, it fills me with pride to see and be able to visit this wonderful piece of history in the heart of our community.
