点评：A massive thank you to our Jeep driver, Juan, and our Easy Rider on the moped, Truong, for giving us a trip of a lifetime on the Ha Giang Loop! As two women in their sixties, we both felt entirely safe, secure, and respected throughout the whole journey. We completely trusted their exceptional ability to navigate those treacherous roads, and it would have been impossible or highly dangerous for us to try and do it without them—we are so deeply grateful to them both. They were professional, kind, thoughtful, and really knew the route inside and out, sharing plenty of fascinating local information and keeping us well-informed about the region. Most of our journey was made even more fun by their wonderful sense of humor and approachability; truly, nothing was ever too much effort for them, whether it was helping us handle drinks or assisting us with bartering for gifts. The scenery was breathtaking, and the food along the way was amazing. The accommodation was a delightful surprise, featuring a mix of normal hotels and beautiful wooden huts on stilts above water with incredible views. Waking up at Wings homestay to such a breathtaking view on our first morning after the night transfer was unforgettable. Their hospitality was top-notch—even kindly offering us towels and a hot shower before our return night transfer bus to Hanoi, which was an absolute godsend. We would highly recommend Juan, Truong, and Wings in general for their incredible hospitality and for making this an unforgettable adventure.
