Another lovely fulfilling visit! 🥰

点评：Another lovely visit! We first came in march for my mother's day gift to do the otters experience and I had the pleasure of meeting Olly and Mr Chips! Loved meeting Venus! We returned today 28/12/2025 and again another lovely visits got to see the porcupine's this time!
I was very happy to see the boys again! Although I feel they remember me from the experience as they were quiet and then saw me and kicked up a fuss and didn't stop until it was feeding time 😂 I even also shared their story and pointed out who was who to other visitors who took interest in them! I was delighted to hear that Mr chips recent health check got the all clear! 🥰
The lovely Venus showed off her parkour skills, luckily didn't play fetch with the chicks 😅 it was lovely to see the artic fox in all its glory with it's full coat of fur!
Tried the lakehouse the carvery was beautiful and inspiring as I'm not going to add potato and carrot daphinouse to our Sunday dinner menu! Only issue was the crumble had a bit of an odd taste to it so couldn't eat it but the staff was lovely and welcoming and went above and beyond for my who had AFRID which is sensory issues around food, you know the chips are good when she eats proper homemade chips as usually she'll only eat fries! They gave her just some custard as requested due to not liking the dessert options as they were out of vanilla ice cream. It was also reasonably priced and a lovely atmosphere!
After purchasing the big otter (Olly) from the gift shop last time I got the smaller one as Mr chips and my little girl also chose a Mr chips!
Can't wait to return once it's a bit warmer!

去湖畔小屋餐厅试了试，烤肉自助餐非常漂亮，而且很有创意，因为我可不想把土豆胡萝卜达芙妮加到我们家的周日晚餐菜单里！唯一的小问题是酥皮点心味道有点怪，所以我没吃。不过，服务员非常热情友好，而且对我的宝宝照顾得无微不至，她患有食物过敏性皮炎（AFRID），也就是对食物有感官障碍。你知道，当她吃到真正自制的薯条时，就知道这家餐厅的薯条有多好吃了，因为她平时只吃炸薯条！由于香草冰淇淋卖完了，他们按照我的要求只给了她一些蛋奶沙司。价格也很合理，餐厅氛围也很棒！
上次在礼品店买了一只大水獭（奥利），这次我又买了一只小水獭，叫“薯条先生”，我的小女儿也选了一个“薯条先生”！
等天气暖和一些，我一定要再去一次！
