点评：We had a most wonderful time visiting David Austin Roses. We visited on Saturday 12th September and arrived after a long drive about 11ish. I specifically wanted some advice in identifying a rose I have in my garden. A man who works in the plants area had unbelievable knowledge of all the roses and told me immediately what my rose was. He was such a wealth of knowledge so we spoke for quite some time about roses. I never felt rushed or that he didn’t have time for me. Next we had lunch in their restaurant. The food came quickly and I can honestly say it was the best fish and chips I have ever had. It came with so many chips that I could not manage them all. They were cooked to perfection as was the fish. The rushed peas were lovely and the home made tartare sauce was fantastic. Staff too were so friendly. It’s worth coming here just for refreshments or a meal.
The part I’d really been looking forward to was the rose gardens. They didn’t disappoint. The standard of presentation was superb. Nothing out of place, all the plants clearly marked and an added bonus was that so much was still in bloom. It wasn’t over busy so we had plenty of space and time for wandering round and residing what roses I liked the best and what I would add to my wish list.
All in all it exceeded our expectations and we probably spent about 4 hours there. Thank you to all the lovely staff. I already want to go back.

我最期待的部分就是玫瑰园了。它果然没有让我失望。整个展览的呈现效果堪称出色。一切都井然有序，所有植物都标有清晰的标签；更令人欣喜的是，当时仍有大量花卉正在绽放。现场并不拥挤，我们有足够的空间和时间来慢慢游览，挑选出自己最喜欢的玫瑰品种，并把它们列入心愿清单。
总的来说，这次参观远远超出了我们的预期，我们在那里大约待了4个小时。感谢所有热情周到的工作人员。我现在就迫不及待想再去了。
