Le Sirenuse Mare的点评
点评：Having only opened this year, Le Sirenuse Mare is already far more than simply another beautiful beach club on the Amalfi Coast. It is in a league of its own.
One of the things that impressed us most was the extraordinary level of service. It starts the moment you arrive, when you are personally welcomed at the boat pier. Filippo, the Restaurant Manager, and his fantastic team have mastered that rare combination of being exceptionally attentive, warm and personal while remaining completely natural and unobtrusive. The region is blessed with many places offering wonderful hospitality, but there is something particularly special about the way the team here looks after its guests. From the first moment, you feel genuinely welcomed, cared for and, admittedly, a little like a king.
The same exceptional standard can be found in every detail of the property. The level of care and taste with which the Sersale family has created and furnished this place over the years is difficult to compare with anything else on the Amalfi Coast – including Capri. It feels much more like an extraordinarily beautiful private Mediterranean villa than a commercial beach club. The furniture, fabrics, ceramics, art, landscaping and countless small details are exceptional. Any interior designer could come here for a masterclass in understated Mediterranean elegance.
The food absolutely matches the surroundings: outstanding ingredients, beautifully prepared dishes and a kitchen operating at a genuinely high level. The wine experience deserves a special mention as well. Francesco, the highly experienced sommelier, has that rare ability to offer knowledgeable guidance while remaining wonderfully discreet and unpretentious. Together with an excellent and thoughtfully curated wine list, he makes choosing the right bottle part of the pleasure rather than a ceremony.
And then there is the atmosphere. Even the music is perfectly judged. A female DJ plays throughout the afternoon at exactly the right volume – present enough to create an atmosphere, but never loud enough to interfere with conversation or relaxation. It sounds like a small detail, but it contributes enormously to the effortless mood of the place.
You can feel decades of experience in world-class hospitality in virtually everything: the service, the food, the wine, the design, the music, the pace of the day and the effortless way it all comes together. Nothing feels accidental, yet nothing feels staged.
We have been coming to Capri for many years and spend several weeks each year in this extraordinary part of Italy. We are fortunate to know many of the wonderful restaurants and beach clubs around Capri and the Amalfi Coast – and there are certainly plenty of exceptional places in this spectacular setting. That perhaps makes it even more remarkable when somewhere genuinely stands out.
Le Sirenuse Mare does exactly that. The fact that it has only opened this year makes the level it has already achieved even more impressive. It is difficult to imagine that this will not become the new hotspot of the Amalfi Coast. There are many beautiful places here, but very few manage to combine sophistication, warmth, attention to detail and genuine hospitality quite like this.
The only problem is that at some point the afternoon has to end – and you really don’t want it to.
