点评：We did the paddleboard tour and it was super cool. Javier was a great guide and just a cool chill guy who felt part of our group. We thought we would be meeting at his shop in Playa Negra, since it said transportation included, but the meeting spot was actually exactly at the river mouth of the estuary, which was only about a 30 min drive from Avellanas, so no biggie. It was so pretty and peaceful, and a cool experience to see all the mangroves. We didn't see any crocs (not sure if I'm happy or sad about this), but we did see some raccoons, birds, and a ray. Javier said you don't need to bring your phone, but I had mine in a waterproof case on a lanyard and was happy I had it to take more pictures and videos, on top of the great ones you get from Javier. It's a little pricey for basically a paddleboard rental and a guide ($80/paddleboard), but we were all still happy we did it and Javier had lots of knowledge about the ecosystem and wildlife. We were a group of 3 adult couples, but I would definitely still recommend Pargos and this tour for families with kids that can either paddle on their own, or sit still on your board for 1.5 hours - you do NOT want to fall in the water there. Great experience overall.
