Driving a 296GTB Challenge car in Modena

点评：The experience was intense. The idea of taking an actual 296GTB Challenge car on the track was filled with anxiety. It was a gift when all I ever wanted to do was start a Ferrari, step on the gas, drive it around for a few hours, I got the bonus plan. Time to step up. Any idea that I had ever owned or driven fast cars got thrown right in the trash can.
If I had any thoughts on how this should’ve gone,
1) a classroom setting to understand the car.
2) a classroom setting to understand the APEX and breaking points of the track.
A) I was criticized for not being aggressive enough on the brakes. I asked for the thoughts on my driving skill but in defense I had never driven a challenge car or knew what to expect with CCBs.
3) I basically got walked through the basics of the car. I got one lap with the instructor driving and three laps with me driving.
I would say over all a shockingly amazing experience.
I would say if I had constructive criticism… if someone pays additional for the drone to follow the car as a point of reference, have someone that can either keep up with the car or not over shoot the car into the turns.
From one end to the other end you couldn’t see the car hit the braking point or get into the apex. The car was a spec in the video.
The other part was there was no sound.
The pictures of the car driving by was out of focus.
I’d say if you’re going to pay additional for the drone you should know what to expect.
They should have video or drones at different parts of the track with mics on the track or in the car.
The drone footage is a nice momento it definitely was not a point of reference on how you did. I didn’t drive it off the track…

赛车驶过的照片也模糊不清。
我觉得，如果你要额外付费使用无人机，就应该知道会得到什么。
他们应该在赛道的不同位置架设摄像机或无人机，并在赛道上或赛车内安装麦克风。
无人机拍摄的画面可以作为不错的纪念品，但它绝对不能作为衡量你驾驶表现的参考。我可没把车开出赛道……
