Pillaton Hall Farm的点评
点评：We have been loyal visitors to Pillaton Hall Farm for years, typically booking 4–5 stays annually. Unfortunately, after our most recent week-long stay, I don’t think we will be returning.
While the site itself remains lovely, the costs have become indefensible. We paid a £415 pitch fee for the week, only to be hit with an additional £148 charge for electricity on top. Paying over £560 for a single week of camping is staggering—the electricity bill alone for 7 days is higher than many monthly household utility bills.
We always travel as part of a large group of 6+ bookings, and every single family in our party has expressed the same frustration. We feel that the value for money has completely disappeared, and the lack of transparency regarding these metered costs makes it impossible to budget for a holiday here.
The site was far more empty than normal with a lot of empty pitches.
It is a real shame to see a site we’ve supported so consistently move in this direction. As it stands, our entire group is now looking at alternative sites for our remaining trips this year. We hope management takes this feedback seriously, as they risk losing a significant amount of repeat business from long-term supporters.
