You are escorted inside and subjected to persistent, high-pressure sales tactics. Instead of being given time to browse, you are encouraged to make expensive purchases and may even be taken into private rooms, making it difficult to leave without buying something.
My wife felt very uncomfortable and ended up purchasing a 14K gold ring, necklace, and earrings for 1,200 EUR simply because she wanted to get out of the situation. As soon as we left, we realized we had made a decision under pressure and immediately regretted it.
After comparing similar 14K gold jewelry online and using AI tools to estimate market prices, we believe the items were significantly overpriced. In our opinion, similar jewelry can be found for around 200 EUR, making the amount we paid feel completely unreasonable.
We left feeling disappointed rather than happy with our purchase. I would strongly recommend that tourists think twice before accepting the store’s free shuttle or buying anything under pressure.
