Christmas Tree and Christmas Beef

点评：THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON OUR XMAS TREE AND MEAT PURCHASE.
TREE
The last weekend in November my wife and I purchased our first ever real Christmas Tree.
The service offered was great, nice bit of sausage to taste and some mulled wine.
Choosing the tree was made easy thanks to the bloke helping he showed us a few trees and cut the end, then packaged it and took it to our car.
It went up easy and stayed put until 1st January so about 5 weeks in total, few needles dropped, a top of water here and there and then lifted it outside with relative ease and still very few needles dropped.
No dead areas if the tree or brown marks.
We will certainly buy another tree from Farmer Gows next year.
A tip - we put 2 massive bin bags over each end of the tree to carry to our cars and then dropped it off at Watchfield Recreauon Ground, no needles on the path of the car.
MEAT
We get fed up with Turkey and usually buy a small crown, a small beef and maybe pork, but always from a supermarket.
This year we decided to get a larger piece of beef and from a farm shop, so as we were here we took a 1.5kg Topside well priced and frozen.
We took this out the day before Xmas and it defrosted well and cooked the best tasting Xmas Dinner for a long long while.
A large piece cooked at once we ate half on the day and a few days later a few slices air fried and then froze the rest until yesterday, when I had the remaining quarter cold with mustard - lovely 😍
All in all good value, and food taste.
The service from the shop is good and the staff are friendly.

今年我们决定买一块更大的牛肉，而且是去农场商店买的。既然来了，我们就买了一块1.5公斤的冷冻牛上脑肉，价格很实惠。
圣诞节前一天我们把它拿出来，解冻得很好，做出来的圣诞大餐味道好极了，而且味道好到让人念念不忘。
我们一次煮了一大块，当天吃了一半，几天后又切了几片用空气炸锅炸了一下，剩下的冷冻起来，直到昨天。昨天我把剩下的四分之一冷着蘸着芥末吃——味道好极了😍
总而言之，物超所值，味道也很棒。
这家店的服务很好，店员也很友好。
