A Perfect Day Out at Sunshine Shetland Oo!

点评：This was my second visit to Sunshine Shetland Oo and it just gets better! I had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon at the croft yesterday with two friends - so good in fact that we didn't want to leave! Heather is the perfect host, we loved hearing all her stories about setting up the place and her many plans for the future; there are a multitude of carefully curated artefacts to see, many of which also have a story behind them. Heather is a multi talented lady, we all admired the beautiful felted sheep which she makes from her own fleece, these are available to buy. We loved meeting and feeding the sheep dogs, sheep, lambs, hens, ponies & cows and we are all 60 plus - children would absolutely adore this! Then we went back inside and sat by the peat fire, with the reestit mutton & Duncan's saat piltocks hanging above to dry and enjoyed lovely coffee with home made shortbread and more conversation and much laughter! Thank you again Heather for the very best day out, I can thoroughly recommend a visit to Sunshine Shetland Oo - it is amazing!
