Pango la Kasa的点评
点评：We’ve been all around the island during our stay and honestly, Pango La Kasa has been the best turtle sanctuary we’ve visited. It’s such a lovely, welcoming and homely place, and I really liked that they only allow a limited number of people in at a time. It makes such a difference because the turtles don’t seem overwhelmed or stressed with loads of people around them.
We were lucky enough to meet the owners, who showed us how some of the turtles were found and rescued. You can really see how much they care about them and the work they do. For what you get, I think the price is really reasonable, especially knowing that you’re supporting the care and rescue of these amazing animals.
The new café is also really nice. It has a very relaxed, homely feel and the fresh fruit was lovely.
They have water shoes available to use for adults and children, which I thought was really useful. There are shallower and deeper areas, so you can choose what you’re comfortable with, and it’s especially good if you’re bringing children. There’s also a platform at the bottom where you can sit for a while and just take in the surroundings.
The whole experience is really peaceful and you also learn a lot about the turtles and where they’ve come from. They also do live music events, which is actually what made us go back — we ended up visiting three times during our stay in Paje as the children loved it
Definitely one of the places I’d recommend visiting if you’re in Zanzibar. 🐢❤️
