Lovely place to visit after visiting the Llama temple
孔庙和国子监博物馆的点评
点评：Visited here after seeing the temple over the road. This place is situated just down a side street opposite the temple on the main road as you have left the subway station and walked left down the road for about 100 yards. The place is where the old age philosophers used to train under the old master. There are items on view all over and the site is beautifully preserved.
There is a video display here which tells you about the history of the palace and how it had been used as an education facility. Beautiful things a plenty. Just remember that if you are visiting here the toilets get plenty of use so bring your own paper. We walked round unknowingly to the end and then we tried to retrace our footsteps as the exit signs were not shown. We walked back the way we came and ended up exactly where we started. As you leave, walk back to the end of the road, the way you came in, and there on the corner is a lovely ice cream shop to visit
