点评：This is a must-try experience when visiting Ooty! We couldn’t get tickets from Ooty, so we booked our journey from Udagamandalam (Ooty) to Coonoor instead. If tickets from your preferred station are sold out, try booking from a nearby station or a different section of the route—you might get lucky. The Nilgiri Mountain Railway is very popular, so it’s best to book in advance.
Our train departed at 9:15 AM, and we arrived about 40 minutes early. That gave us plenty of time to take photos with the iconic toy train and explore the beautiful station. There’s also a small coffee shop where you can relax with a cup of coffee while waiting.
The scenic journey through the Nilgiri Hills is absolutely breathtaking, with lush greenery, charming bridges, and beautiful mountain views throughout the ride. It was one of the highlights of our Ooty trip and definitely worth every rupee. I highly recommend adding this experience to your itinerary! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
