Cardiac Canyon by Taadidiin Tours的点评
点评：This is a much more private experience than nearby Antelope Canyon tours which are crowed and rushed from what we have read online. My partner is a photographer and we booked the 6 hour photography specific Cardiac Canyon tour so he could bring his tripod and be unhuried, but I feel all the tours by this company go out of the way to provide a unique, personal experience that highlights the native Navajo culture and slot canyon beauty and sacred nature.
Our driver Christian and guide Jameson where both enthusiastic ambassadors of the Navajo Nation we have been luckily to experience on this trip but also humorous and lighthearted, while remaining respectful. Words cannot describe the beauty and stillness in the Canyon and I'll attach pictures but while my partner is a wonderful photographer, know that even these picture are only a representation of being there.
Since our tour was long by design, made a little longer by stopping by the original family Navajo homestead, where they are building a recreation of an Navajo hogan, the souvenir trailer was closed when we were done.
We returned the following morning on our way out of Page to buy some stickers and T shirt for Cardiac Canyon, which are unavailable on line due to the uniqueness of this place. We met Vangie there who has worked for Taadidin tours for over 15 years and was happy to share family stories of the Navajo as well. This has inspired me to research Navajo history more to broaden my knowledge.
