点评：On booking this experience I clearly stated that I was a complete beginner and on arrival I noted this on my registration form. I also told the instructor that I had only ever sat on a horse once. I asked what hat to choose and one was chosen by the instructor. I was told my horse was very calm. I was not told that the 2 hour experience is better for people who are not nervous. It was very obvious that I was scared and when we trotted I started to scream at the start of the ride but I wasn't told that I should return. I told Beth our lead guild 3 times that my hat was loose and I couldn't tighten it. No attempt to check it was made. Like another review I was also not expecting to go up and down rocky muddy steep hills and mountains. At one point I nearly got caught on a tree. This experience is not for complete beginners and should be made clear that you will be required to trot and will.not be on a lead rope. Every time we trotted I screamed and eventually I got off with 15 min to walk. I couldn't help screaming as I was terrified. I was fine when in walking so why Beth didn't stay in walk I don't know. This all could have been avoided and the fact that my hat was not properly fitted is extremely worrying for safety. It's a shame as this whole experience completely ruined by daughters 13th birthday. Only book if you have experience riding horses.
