点评：We visited the Brauerei Locher Visitor Centre during our stay in Appenzell and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, who made us feel right at home.
The visit began with a short tour explaining the brewing process, followed by a brief video about the brewery’s history and beer-making traditions. The highlight was definitely being able to enjoy a freshly poured beer of our own choice while watching the presentation. It was a nice touch that made the visit feel both informative and relaxing.
The brewery offers an impressive selection of beers, and everything we tasted was exceptionally fresh. Whether you prefer a light lager or something with more character, there’s likely something you’ll enjoy.
If you’re visiting Appenzell and the weather isn’t ideal for hiking or sightseeing outdoors, this is an excellent indoor activity. It’s well-organised, enjoyable without taking up too much time, and gives you a good introduction to one of the region’s most famous local products. Definitely worth a visit for beer lovers and anyone interested in learning a little more about Appenzell’s brewing heritage.
