点评:My family of 5 did the 8 hour Market and Cooking Class with Rosa and enjoyed every aspect of it! She met us at the market and then proceeded to the butcher where she procured and explained about all the food she would be using in our meal. We stopped for coffee and then took the tram to her studio. Her studio is tucked away in Old Town away from the crowds and is air conditioned with a rustic but modern motif. You can tell a lot of thought went into setting the cooking and eating areas up. We started out with cheese and wine and then proceeded to cook. We made socca which was better than anything else in town. The egg plant caviar was delicious as well as the stuffed vegetables. We finished with the Clafoutis cherry dessert that Nice is known for and it did not disappoint. Once the food was cooked, we all sat down as a family with Rosa and ate our meal, shared wine and lots of stories. Rosa is the real deal who enjoys sharing her knowledge of cooking. She shares stories about herself and Nice and has a genuine interest in getting to know each and every one of her students. I'm not sure which was more enjoyable, the market/learning about the food or the cooking or just sitting down and sharing our meal and stories with one another. I would highly recommend taking this class! Thanks Rosa for such an amazing experience! Bon Appe'tit!
