Lovely colourful film sets, but very overpriced

点评：My partner and I visited this exhibition for my birthday this week. We booked one of the earliest slots on a weekday, so there weren’t many people around, which was great for getting decent photos. It was certainly getting much busier as we left, with lots of pre-schoolers.
There is a short introduction film in a theatre room at the start, which you watch in small groups as you arrive before you are let into the main event rooms. You have to follow the set flow and can spend as long as you want in each room, but can’t go back to a room once you’ve left it.
There were some wonderful sets from the classic Pixar films: Up, Toy Story, Cars, Monsters Inc, Ratatouille & Finding Nemo. Along with some newer, and less well known films: Inside Out, Luca, Elemental & Coco (which I’ve personally never seen!). I would have liked to see Wall-e and The Incredibles sets.
There are plenty of photo spots and things to see. Staff in every room, who were happy to take pics of us.
There aren’t any interactive elements (apart from spotting the hidden Pixar ball in each room!) and understandably, you aren’t allowed to touch the displays. I feel kids would likely get bored fairly quickly.
The exhibition terminates in a gift shop, which is (unashamedly) extortionately priced. What happened to ‘pocket money’ gift shop items such as pencils, badges and rulers?
As a Pixar fan, I thought the exhibition was good. But feel it is very overpriced and not really the best family activity. It only took us about 1 hour to walk through at a slow pace, taking loads of photos.
Probably worth a visit if you are local and a keen Pixar Fan, however I wouldn’t travel a long distance specifically for this event or take young kids if you can avoid doing so!

除了在每个房间里寻找隐藏的皮克斯球之外，展览没有任何互动元素，而且可以理解的是，展品不允许触摸。我觉得孩子们很快就会觉得无聊。
展览的尽头是一家礼品店，价格（毫不掩饰地）贵得离谱。以前那种铅笔、徽章和尺子之类的“零花钱”礼品店都去哪儿了？
作为皮克斯的粉丝，我觉得这个展览还不错。但感觉价格太高了，而且不太适合全家一起参观。我们慢慢地逛了一圈，拍了很多照片，大概花了一个小时。
如果你是皮克斯的忠实粉丝，而且住在附近，那或许值得一去。但是，如果可以的话，我不建议你特意为了这个展览跑很远，或者带小孩子来！
