点评：Despite common perceptions and government advisories that often discourage this trip, I am truly grateful to have taken this journey. Along the way I met Sajad, who was far more than just a guide — he became a friend. With outstanding professionalism, deep knowledge, and genuine passion for his work, he accompanied us from north to south through an extraordinary country rich in history and remarkable places.
He proved extremely flexible even with last-minute changes and was always enthusiastic about sharing the wonders of his homeland. On a personal note, he was also an invaluable source of support — both human and practical — when I injured my ankle. With calmness and professionalism, he took me to the hospital and handled all communication and administrative procedures: in less than an hour I was already discharged (unfortunately) with a cast and crutches.
If I should recommend a journey, I would certainly recommend this destination — but above all to experience it with Tigris Tales, because it would be, just as it was for me, an authentic and profound experience capable of leaving a lasting mark
