Giovanni is the best!

点评：Giovanni picked us up at the Naples train termini and transported us to Sorrento when we first arrived. He communicated with me through WhatsApp ahead of time and was waiting exactly where he said he would be when we got off the train with a sign with my name on it.
We had such a good experience with him on the trip from Naples to Sorrento, that we decided to do a tour of the Amalfi coast with him several days later. The Amalfi coast tour was absolutely unbelievable! It was an eight hour day. He picked us up at our Airbnb and brought us to Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. We spent one hour in Positano and Amalfi, and two hours in Ravello. We absolutely loved Ravello the best.
Giovanni speaks good English, and he was an impeccable tour guide, pointing out all of the relevant sites, but not talking too much. He even brought us to an amazing ceramics store after we told him that we were interested in purchasing some. He had waters in the car for us, and he was a safe and patient driver, which is no small thing given the traffic on the Amalfi coast. At one point, I had considered renting a car here, and I’m so glad I didn’t. There is a lot of traffic, and the drivers are a little crazy.
We had such good experiences with Giovanni that we also had him do our transfer back from Sorrento to the airport, leaving at 5 AM to get there on time.
His prices are incredibly reasonable for the area and you shouldn’t hesitate to use him as a local tour guide or a transport driver.
I never write reviews, but I wanted to write one for Giovanni because he’s so exceptional and we had such a good experience!
