When we visited Meteora with our family, we booked a tour with Dimitri and Meteora Experience, and it turned out to be far beyond anything we expected.
At first, we thought that simply visiting the monasteries would be enough. However, Dimitri showed us a completely different side of Meteora — away from the busy sites and crowds. He guided us through hidden paths, peaceful viewpoints, and stunning natural spots that we would never have found on our own.
Along the way, he shared fascinating local stories about the history of the villages, the landscape, and the monks, which helped us connect much more deeply with the place. It felt like a genuine journey into nature and local life, not just a tour.
