点评:I walked up the hill from Bab Bou Jeloud around 5:30 in the afternoon just before dusk. Sitting up on the worn stone ledge by the ruined tombs watching the sky shift from pale blue to deep orange over the entire old city was an absolutly unreal experience. The standout part was when the evening call to prayer started echoing across the valley from hundreds of minarets all at once, floating up over thousands of tightly packed houses while the lights began flickering on down below. It gave such a very unique sense of how massive the old medina actually is, completely changing how you perceive the streets after being tangled in them all morning. The walk up took maybe fifteen or twenty minutes and was totally straightforward, with cool evening air making the uphill trek easy. It was by far my favorite memory from my time in Fes.
