点评：My partner and I spent a week touring the middle of Sri Lanka (Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella and drop off in Hiriketiya) with Rumesh before spending a week on the south coast by ourselves.
Rumesh and his business partner were recommended by a friend who used their services in the past year. It was a very convenient and flexible way to travel around Sri Lanka (vs ordering transport for each location) and there’s multiple incidences of where he saved us time, money! (through his contacts or knowing the right prices) and enabled us to see and do more on our trip than we would have done otherwise. Just one example, he helped us get good tickets for the train to Ella and advised the best place to sit for the views, even though we hadn’t booked in advance. Rumesh met us in Ella with our luggage all safe to continue our tour.
He picked us up at the airport and we headed straight to Sigiriya, with Rumesh finding us SIM cards and an atm on the way, avoiding the long airport queues. His vehicle was perfect for the two of us and our luggage. It was super clean and the air-con was a savior.
I can’t recommend him enough, incredibly helpful, friendly and flexible with our plans, that we decided and changed as we went (with help from his recommendations). After we finished, he even arranged several transports and activities (whale watching in Mirissa) at a price better than we found locally.
