From Women’s Camp to Cat Boarding in Kosovo — an incredible journey with MINT

点评：I’ve now done three trips with MINT: Women’s Camp (March 2024), Intro to Off-Piste (March 2025), and most recently the cat-boarding adventure in Kosovo (February 2026). The progression has been amazing.
The Women’s Camp involved half days of coaching across the week, focused on improving technical riding. Tammy was an incredible instructor. She made every session count, breaking things down clearly and giving feedback that genuinely improved my riding across piste, (a tiny bit of park) and powder.
The Intro to Off-Piste camp the following year was a step up with full days riding off-piste around Morzine and Avoriaz, building confidence in variable terrain and learning how to move safely in more complex conditions. Again, Tammy’s coaching was spot on: supportive, detailed and encouraging.
By the time the Kosovo cat-boarding trip came around, it felt like a natural next step. It wasn’t a coaching-heavy week in the same way. Dave, our MINT instructor was full of encouragement, tips, advice and feedback if and when you wanted it, but it was much more about applying everything you’ve learned in a bigger mountain environment.
Honestly, I don’t think I would have signed up for a trip like that without the previous camps. What made the difference wasn’t just improved technique, it was Tammy’s reassurance that I was “good enough” and ready for it. That vote of confidence made a huge difference.
The atmosphere on every MINT trip I’ve done has been supportive, friendly and ego-free. You improve quickly, but you also feel looked after and encouraged the whole way.
Looking back at where I started compared to riding untouched lines with my new adventure buddies in Kosovo, I can see the pathway and MINT has been a huge part of that.
Already thinking about what’s next.

说实话，如果没有之前的训练营，我可能不会报名参加这样的旅行。真正让我受益匪浅的不仅仅是技术的提升，还有Tammy对我的肯定——她让我相信自己“足够优秀”，并且已经做好了准备。这份信任至关重要。
我参加过的每一次MINT之旅，氛围都充满支持、友好和包容。你不仅进步神速，而且全程都能感受到被关怀和鼓励。
回首过往，再看看我当初的起点，如今我和新结识的冒险伙伴们一起在科索沃的原始山路上驰骋，我清晰地看到了自己前进的道路，而MINT在其中扮演了举足轻重的角色。
