点评：What a fun tour! It is a long day but, it really flies by. Dave was such a knowledgeable tour guide and filled every minute of the travel time with interesting facts, stories, and historical lore. Dave has done the legwork for you, having local experts come to the stops along the way to sign books and add to the story. He has even developed relationships with the private residences to get approval for a stop or drive by that would be difficult if not impossible for a DIYer. This tour is so interesting that several experts also signed up for the tour to learn and add in their expertise. There is great synergy between the driver (Charles) and David that you would think they have been working together for years.
I cannot say it enough, this tour is worth every penny even for the spouses of history buffs, ask me how I know ; -).
