点评:A Hill Which You Should Explore! Cerro Brujo, or Witch Hill, is part of San Cristobal, a volcanic island in the Galapagos. We hiked here, walked on the beach, and took a zodiac ride around the perimeter of the island. We saw the terrifically colorful Sally Lightfoot crabs climbing around on the black, volcanic rock (see photo), plus ample sea lions (see photo). And in the distance, we saw Kicker Rock (see photo), which we toured around at sunset later in the day. If you have the opportunity to explore this island by water as well as hike, I would devote the time to do both. The animal viewing is fantastic. I love how the sea lions pose, as if to say, don't hate me because I'm beautiful! This writer would encourage you to wear a hat, sunglasses, and ample sunblock - there is no shade, and you're on the Equator in full blast sun here. Plus, it's windy. I am really glad this was one of our stops on our National Geographic Lindblad journey on the Gemini.
