Magical place and fantastic snowshoe tour to Husfjellet

点评：I took a snowshoe tour to Husfjellet with Markus in February 2026. Markus is exceptionally professional and passionate about Senja and outdoor activities. The tour was perfectly organized, with focus on planning and safety, and so fun and beautiful. Markus provided clear and detailed instructions on how to get to Senja island from Tromso, and what to pack for the hike.
Yttersia Base is located at the entrance to the trailhead/hike, with beautiful view of the fjord, and with convenient access by the road. It has been recently renovated and redecorated, has everything needed for the comfortable visit, stay, and tours/activities.
Husfjellet was my most favorite hike so far, combining the beauty of the mountains, the sea/fjords, and snow/Nordic nature. It was truly unique and special. I would love to return for more outdoor adventures with Yttersia Base.
