The Mandate of Memory Museum的点评
点评:I visited this small museum in the center of Mostar, near the bridge. We were welcomed by a young girl named Amina, and she was very polite. She told us more about the dissolution of Yugoslavia and the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, because we didn’t know much about it and had many questions, which she calmly explained to us.
After that, we were also able to see how houses looked during that time, as well as how the UN viewed Bosnia through their own perspective. Amina even showed us some old photographs there and shared a few personal stories from local families, which made the whole experience feel much more emotional and real. She also recommended a few traditional Bosnian dishes and places we should visit while staying in Bosnia. We didn’t have much more time to spend in Mostar, so we asked Amina where else we should go to explore Bosnia, and she kindly took the time to explain how to get to those locations.
