点评：This is a community hub that serves as a multi-purpose sporting, camping, and community gathering facility. Undergoing a recent redevelopment, the reserve offers camping with amenities like powered sites, toilets, and showers, alongside sports facilities such as a sports oval, tennis courts, and multi-sports surfaces for netball and other activities. It also functions as a crucial emergency asset and a growing destination for tourists.
As I noted on a recent visit... there were campers around the area, all very relaxed, reading books, taking in the serenity. And it's quite beautiful - so green and lush with contrasting blue skies... I stopped to see what was there and to use the amenities.
To find it, if you are heading towards Omeo... it's on your left just before the bridges. There is a sign to indicate but it's a small street sign. Once you turn off the main road, it's about a kilometre down on your left.
