点评:ABSOLITELY DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR for a food vendor OWNER
My husband and I we re so excited to go to the Greek in the food hall in Glossop.
We hadn’t been out for a while. In a nutshell, ordered a platter for 2 with extra Tatziki , cost £42. The meal came it was stone cold, I sent it back, it came crack within 3 minutes Luke warm. The waiter came to clear the table and we told him to take it away as it was cold. On leaving I approached the cafe, I explained about the meal and the chap (the OWNER) blew up at me, I said I don’t like putting things on social media sites , I talk to the staff and tell them my problem, what came next was so awful, he 1. Blamed the serving staff because they hadn’t brought the food when it was hot, 2. Blamed me for sending it back because it was cold. Still shouting at me, don’t forget it’s all open plan, everyone could hear him, he said “I’ve had 5 customers tell me how good my food is”. By this time I was sooooooo upset, I went to the bar and explained to Olivia what had happened, Olivia went to see him. She came back and said he would refund the meal, I left my details with her, I left it a week, NO COMMUNICATION, I rang, guess what. Nobody had any recollection of the incident,
In the end after emails to the boss of the food hall, he at first offered me £10 as a good will gesture and I refused , that was a bit of an insult. He came back with an offer of £20. I accepted but I haven't been back, wont go back, I could have given my charity £42.
The owner must have felt he could say he had no recollection of me , rubbish
How can he treat customers like that, the abuse was awful, so embarrassing , left feeling so deflated, what was supposed to be a lovely lunch with my husband for the first time this year turned into a disaster not brought on by ourselves, SHAME on you, owner of the Greek cafe, I hope you leave that place so I can go back.
