点评:Visited their Santa experience this morning and wish I hadn’t bothered. Greeted by the elves that were not long out of nappies themselves. The troops were rounded up (squeezed into a small space) before being herded into another small space for activities. The wee man’s peachy (bottom) had just touched his seat when his name was called to go and see the big man. The wee man was beside himself as he said to an elf that someone will take his seat, with the elf replying “oh it doesn’t matter” I replied that she will find out how much it matters to a 3 year old. Fair play to Santa, he was very good with us all, especially the wee man and gave us as much time as we needed for photos. Back to his seat, which was as described by the wee man as taken and the tears started, not just by our wee man, there must be some sort of code noise for the under 5’s that started a few of them off just like a choir. The activities felt rushed and children were being encouraged to take them home to finish them. Not the best choice for the audience of ceramic igloos and one youngster tested that well. I, like a few other adults probably enjoyed the colouring more than the kids. To end the festivities, a goody bag from Mr S with a high five or fist bump for good measure. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, maybe just not here.
