World Famous Gopher Hole Museum的点评
点评：If you're in the area and looking for something quirky to see we would recommend this spot. There are several dioramas with taxidermy gophers in various scenes and costumes. Our favourites were the church, chuckwagon, snowman, Hobbit, Princess Bride, and hair salon. They have an impressive gift shop with many gopher themed gifts and several of the items are made by local artists. We visited in the summer and the temperature inside was fine. A visit here will likely be short and we would recommend planning about half an hour in the museum. All the fire hydrants in the town are gopher themed and there is a tall statue of their mascot near the highway which is a short drive from the museum.
We stopped here after visiting Drumheller on our way to Red Deer. The hamlet of Torrington is about 20 minutes east of highway two and could give a quick break if you're driving between Edmonton and Calgary. There are some fun and interesting road trip stops throughout rural Alberta and this is one of you're in the area.
