Animals amazing, Staff at desk unhelpful, critical of animals.

点评：We were disgusted with the guy on reception. We had rung about feeding times for the Meerkats, and the guy, (who we dread to think, is the Manager). Said “Meerkats were horrid smelly dirty things…” Hardly promoting his centre was he❓He later moaned an about horrid previous visitors and how he hadn’t expected so many, and wished he had closed on 1st September. When doing the bird display he looked totally bored, but like the poor owl who was let out, sat on top of cage, then took off, presumably behind his cage to escape sour puss.
He told the public he knew all the meerkats names and proceeded to name them all..later was heard to say …he just makes them up each time. So not honest either. His attitude was he was very bored with the job, wasn’t interested in being pleasant.
Unlike the young man looking after the guinea pigs, one of which was just only a few days or weeks old. Was very pleasant, nice manner, offer ed for us to stroke and handle the little chap. We suggest he takes over the centre and the so called manager, is dismissed.
I used to work in Tourism for 20 years and if I had had his attitude I’d have been fired.
The animals were amazing but we felt some water in cages looked very dirty and some cages had very little in them to stimulate single birds.
We had asked previously on the phone about being able to feed the meerkats and told we could - but then told no on arrival!
We felt sorry for some of the birds in unstimulating cages.
The meerkats were a delight and so interesting to watch, also the display of vultures.
