点评:I have been a member for several years and use the circuit a couple of times a week.
I find the staff friendly and the cafe very reasonable. It was, I think, a mistake to move the cafe to reception area. I realise it was probably to save money but it gets congested with people checking in and queuing for drinks.
The road circuit itself is pretty good. It's just over a mile and a half if fully open. The problem I find is the lack of instruction for new users. I have experienced people riding the wrong way. That has included some of the disabled users who I felt should have been supervised. Parents let their children ride all over the circuit which creates danger with a rapidly approaching rider. I don't moan at them as I don't wish to deter the little ones from cycling. If I were cycling with my granddaughter for example, I would ensure she was on the left and I was on her right slightly behind - as I would with anyone vulnerable on the road.
I have also gone on the track and found myself in the middle of classes taking place. No signs, no track blocked off. I am experienced rider so am aware of hazards. Less experienced of novice riders could be hurt or cause accidents.
I think more signage and induction talks for new users would be helpful.
Overall, a useful facility but I still prefer a ride through the country lanes!
