点评：We had the most incredible holiday in Sri Lanka and we owe our thanks to Sam who drove us around the island for two weeks. We agreed our itinerary in advance with Sam advising us on the ‘must see’ things to see and do. We were met at the airport by him with a warm and friendly greeting and he continued in his diligent and caring manner to look after our every want and need during our time in Sri Lanka. Sam took us to temples, waterfalls, spas, mountains, tea plantations, beaches, botanical gardens and more. At our request he arranged a safari, a massage, a cookery class and a snorkelling trip. He dropped us at our various accommodations (we were busy and chose to stay in eight different locations) and picked us up at times that suited us. Nothing was too much trouble for Sam - he even sourced us a traditional hopper saucepan because we wanted to take one home. He advised us on where to buy products such as white tea, spices and SrinLankan gemstones so as not to get stung by inflated prices. We felt very safe on the road with Sam and he made the longer journeys enjoyable with little stops here and there to try the tropical fruits being sold at the side of the road and traditional delicacies including delicious yogurt with honey.
We would whole heartedly recommend using Sam as your driver across this wonderful island. He is the loveliest person, professional, reliable and knowledgeable.
We can’t recommend enough taking a holiday in Sri Lanka - it has everything to offer and the warmest smiliest people. It was a very special time for us and one we will never forget.
