点评：First and foremost, Saman is hands down one of the safest drivers we encountered in Sri Lanka. He never speeds, drives defensively at all times, and you genuinely feel at ease the entire journey. In a country where road conditions can be unpredictable, this matters more than anything else.
He is also exceptionally punctual — not once did our group wait for him. He was always early to every pick-up, without fail.
What really impressed us was his uncanny sense of drive times. His estimates were more accurate than Google Maps, and he’d give us honest reality checks on our itinerary when needed — something we came to really appreciate. This is why I’d strongly recommend engaging Saman before your trip, not just during it. He can help shape your itinerary, flag what’s realistic, and even arrange tickets in advance.
His food, restaurant, and shopping recommendations were consistently excellent. After a few days, we stopped second-guessing and just went with whatever he suggested — and we were never disappointed.
Above all, Saman is respectful, warm, and never pushy. He listens, adapts, and will even negotiate with vendors on your behalf. He genuinely has your best interests at heart.
