Alstede Farms的点评
点评：This place has a 3.1 on Yelp and a 3.5 on Tripadvisor so clearly there’s a problem but to hear them tell it everything‘s wonderful and the majority of their customers are thrilled. maybe improve your business model, stop treating your customers poorly and improve your service instead of gaslighting them when they write a negative review making it seem like it’s just them. clearly with these low review scores, it’s not just one or two people that have a problem here.
And the prob is it’s a rip off: 32.99 just to enter and yeah that comes with a tractor ride, hayride and other things but most people who go to these farms don’t want all that “all inclusive” they just wanna walk around and maybe pick. Also, the employees here are surly and rude, but if people are dumb enough to come here and pay these prices, what motivation do they have to not be rude?. There’s only a zillion other farms in New York and New Jersey who don’t charge this. we came here *only* bc it was close to our final destination having done no research— that was a mistake.

And a line that wasn’t even that long at the donut truck was literally not moving. Are they making each doughnut from scratch to order? That’s the part that made no sense. The line wasn’t that long. It just wasn’t moving. if it had been a super long line of course it would make sense that there was a wait, but there was only about 20 people. Avoid.
