点评：Our driver recommended us to go so we accepted. Everyone was very friendly and we actually enjoyed the experience. Meeting the lovely Fatima was the highlight of my day and she taught me a little bit about weaving.
We were told time and time again that this weaving village was about strong women which is something my husband and I both endorse. We we told again and again how long it took to make a table runner… about one month.
We went into the shop and were quickly shown runners and given a price of 4 million!!!! Yup 4 million. Now bearing in mind that it apparently takes a month to create one I thought … well, maybe. I got them down to 3 million.
Anyway, on our return to our hotel we found out that our runner was not hand woven and was worth about 400,000.
We were completely taken in by the women’s charm. There’s nothing about empowering women in this village. It’s all about conning 👌 people out of hard earned money. Lesson learned. DO NOT GO. COMPLETE SCAM
