点评：We did the 4 day Orca trip in the first week of September. The staff were great people and did an excellent job of making our trip a lot of fun. We had a good variety of meals and also had a shore lunch provided for us on our longest paddling day. We had some strong winds and rain one night , yet not a single drop of water got inside our tents and the view from our deck was perfect ,including a nice fire on our beach and a stunning sunset. I would say our accommodation gave us the perfect balance of comfort while still allowing you to be as close to nature as possible. The guided hike up to the whale observation platform included a very informative talk from the staff up there and the view was amazing. The “landing craft” style of transport boat used by the owner was perfect for carrying our large amount of gear while still allowing us several great viewing opportunities during our transit time to the island. Our group ranged in age from about 35 to 75 and we all paddled well together. Many thanks to Larry, Brian and Colleen. Definitely worth the trip to go.
