点评:The park is okay for campers, mostly unlevel campsites with areas that have little to no shade and no grassy areas - not even native grasses. The large rock formations and lake are on the positive side however. Our biggest complaint may be outside the scope of the Colorado State Park system (which we admire and are proud of its employees) but the road to get to the park is horrendous. It starts out with a fairly new surface but quickly dissipated to a long stretch of washboard dirt surface that literally shook our window shade out of its screwed-in fixture. Drivers and pullers beware! Services are typical for state parks with water fill-up station and dump station as well. The 2 stars is more for the experience of getting back to the park than the park itself. The park itself would be 3 stars and staff 5 stars. A little investment by the state/county would go a long way to make this a destination for all.
