Plaka Beach Rhodos的点评
点评：We visited Plaka Beach after 3:00 PM and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.
First, there was no reduced afternoon rate. We were told by the lady collecting the payment that the price is always the same. Two sunbeds cost €30, which would have been acceptable if the facilities matched the price.
However, after just a few minutes we realized this wasn’t the relaxing beach experience we were looking for. The beach was extremely overcrowded, with sunbeds packed so closely together that there was hardly any personal space. It felt more like lying shoulder-to-shoulder than enjoying a day at the beach. As my partner put it, it felt like “lizards lying on a rock.” There was absolutely no sense of relaxation.
Another disappointment was the lack of basic amenities. There are no toilets or drink service on the beach itself. If you want food or drinks, you have to walk to the canteen and queue together with hundreds of other visitors. Payment for the sunbeds is cash only, which is also something visitors should know in advance.
Since we had only been there for about five minutes and hadn’t even entered the water, we decided this wasn’t how we wanted to spend our vacation. We politely asked whether a refund would be possible.
Unfortunately, instead of trying to help, the lady handed us her phone to speak with her manager, who simply yelled at us that a refund was impossible. We didn’t argue and left, but the way it was handled left a very poor impression.
This review reflects only our personal experience. If you enjoy very busy beaches, this place might suit you. If you’re looking for a relaxing beach with space, service, and good value for money, you may want to consider other options.
