点评：Some places are worth the hype. Others quietly exceed it.
Komachi Park was definitely the second one for me.
We almost skipped it during our Wayanad trip because we thought it would just be another “photo park” with a few decorative setups. I’m so glad we didn’t.
We reached in the morning and ended up staying until late afternoon without even realizing where the time went. That’s probably the best compliment I can give any tourist attraction.
What makes this place different isn’t just the number of attractions—it’s the amount of heart that has gone into creating them. Nothing feels random. Every pathway leads to something interesting, every corner has its own character, and the whole park feels like it was designed by people who genuinely care about giving visitors a memorable day.
I’m someone who usually gets bored after an hour or two in parks, but here there was always something new to discover. Beautiful themed photography spots, peaceful nature trails, creative art installations, the photography museum, birds, gardens… it just kept going. Every section felt different from the previous one.
One thing I really appreciated was that it never felt overcrowded or chaotic. Even with plenty of visitors, the park has enough space to make you slow down and enjoy the surroundings. There are lots of places where you can simply sit, relax and enjoy the fresh air.
The landscaping deserves a special mention. You can tell that years of effort have gone into growing and maintaining this place. It’s not the kind of attraction that can be built overnight. Everywhere you look there are mature trees, flowering plants, greenery and beautifully maintained spaces that blend naturally with the landscape.
The walk-through bird aviary was another highlight. Watching colourful birds fly around freely while hearing nothing but nature was surprisingly calming. The kids around us absolutely loved it, and honestly, so did the adults.
As someone who enjoys photography, I was in heaven. There are endless compositions and backgrounds, but the nice thing is that the park never feels fake or overdone. Most photo spots blend naturally into the surroundings instead of looking like temporary props.
The staff deserve appreciation too. Everyone we interacted with was courteous, patient and genuinely welcoming. The park itself was exceptionally clean, including the washrooms, which says a lot about how well the place is managed.
I also liked that this isn’t just for photographers. Families, children, elderly visitors, couples and even solo travellers all seemed to be enjoying themselves. That’s not easy to achieve.
By the time we left, I understood why this place has received so many glowing reviews. They weren’t exaggerated—they were actually pretty accurate.
Kerala has countless beautiful destinations, but Komachi Park offers something refreshingly unique. It combines nature, creativity, education and entertainment without losing its peaceful atmosphere.
If you’re heading to Wayanad, don’t treat this as a quick photo stop. Set aside at least 4–5 hours, wear comfortable shoes, keep your phone or camera fully charged, and just explore at your own pace.
We’ll definitely be back, and next time we’ll be bringing more family along. Some places deserve repeat visits, and this is one of them.

穿行其中的鸟类笼舍也是一大亮点。看着色彩斑斓的鸟儿自由翱翔，耳边只有大自然的声音，这种体验令人心旷神怡、无比宁静。我们身边的孩子们简直爱死了这里，说实话，大人们也同样喜欢。
作为一名摄影爱好者，我简直乐开了花。这里有数不清的构图角度和背景可选，但最棒的是，整个公园丝毫不会给人做作或过度雕琢的感觉。大多数拍照点都能与周围环境自然融合，完全不像是临时布置的道具。
工作人员也值得称赞。我们接触到的每个人都彬彬有礼、耐心周到，态度极为热情友好。整个公园也保持得异常整洁。包括洗手间在内，这一切都充分体现了这个地方管理得有多出色。
