Good concert, but a shame it was freezing

点评：We visited The Halls for a metal gig, this was our first time here. The venue is a good size with lots of standing room and two levels of balcony seating, and it is not so vast that you can't see the stage. The staff were friendly and helped us find our seats. I didn't bother going to the bar, but my husband did and reported that the prices were steep, which is to be expected in a concert venue. The toilets were clean and well kept. The biggest downside of the venue was the constant freezing draught blowing throughout the event, we thought it must be air con (not sure why, given that it is October!) but we couldn't see any vents near us. The seating was also quite cramped with the rows very close together, and the steps down to them were fairly steep with no hand rails, so you need to be careful when navigating the seating. Overall the gig was excellent, but many layers of clothing were definitely needed.
