点评:We’ve now attended concerts here three times but this is my first review. This has to be the most badly organised event venue for miles. They are so disorganised it borders on being unsafe. I dread to think what would happen if there was an emergency. I think part of the reason for this is that because of the link to the university they use a lot of students as marshals, bar staff, etc and quite frankly they are useless.
On our first visit we had to pay an extra £1 each for a plastic glass for our already exorbitant drinks which has now been abandoned thankfully. Second visit we were directed to the wrong balcony floor by door staff and as a result missed the start of the gig. This last visit I couldn’t believe the length of the queues at the bar as the system they operate is so slow.
They also need an improvement to their website to post more detail of each event, particularly the timings. All that shows is the door opening times and nothing more. You can’t call anyone as they don’t list numbers or email addresses. I received a survey request after the event asking for feedback the content of which had more to do with woke issues than actual facts about our experience.
For a “premier venue” this place ought to be renamed “the pits”.
